ERASE a Block of Mix Data
The
Erase Process
allows you to permanently remove a selected block of
Mix
data.
Defining a Mix Data Block to Erase
Defining a block of
Mix
data in an
Erase
process is identical to the method used in
Repeat
.
Choose the
Channels
and specific
Mix Events
over the required time period.
ERASING the Selected Mix Data
1. When the selected data is
Erased
, fader levels and automated switch states existing
immediately prior to the specified timecode block are maintained through the
Erased
segment.
2. In the
Erase Process
the
X-Fade
value gains an additional parameter: the
In/Out
checkbox. By default, this is unchecked indicating a
X-Fade In
.
Fader levels will be faded down to zero from the beginning of the
Erased
block.
Clicking into the
In/Out
box will add a green checkmark, indicating a
Fade Out
.
This will apply the
X-Fade
to the other end of the
Erased
block, fading levels up to
their values immediately following.
Once you have defined the range of channels, events, time and
X-Fade In
or
Out
click
Process
. The selected data will be
Erased
.
