Selecting the Time At Which Mix Data is Repeated
1. Below the
Range From
and
To
boxes is the
At
timecode box. This defines the point
at which the selected
Mix Data
is
Repeated
.
2. Edit the
At
time by clicking into each of the hours, minutes, seconds and frames
fields and typing new values.
Once all parameters have been set, click the
Process
button. Your selected
Mix
data will be
Repeated
in the current Mix starting from the time specified in the
At
box. Any existing
Mix
data following the
At
time will be overwritten, up to the length of the
Repeating
segment.
Note:
The final point to mention applies to all
Mix Processes
.
Process
options can sometimes create adjoining and discontinuous fader levels i.e. a fader
written at -5dB at one timecode point is now written at -20dB at the immediately
following timecode point.
Process
options allow you to control the time any fader will take to reach a discontinuous
value, called the
Crossfade Time
or
X-Fade
.
Editing the
X-Fade
value (in seconds) specifies the blend between two disparate levels.
Click into the
X-Fade
field and type a new value.
Note:
Unless specified, the
X-Fade
value applies as both a fade-in and a fade-out.
