Selecting a Time Range in Your Mix Data
Once you have determined which
Events
and
Channels
you want to
Process
, the next step
is to determine which block of
time
the
Process
will apply to.
This is done by entering timecode values in the
Range From
and
Range To
boxes. Edit the
timecode values directly by clicking into each of the hours, minutes, seconds and frames
fields and typing new values.
Alternatively, there are five buttons that enable you to automatically fill in the
Range
boxes:
From Cue
This opens a list of all of the currently defined
Cues
. Clicking a
Cue
in this list will enter
it’s timecode value in the selected
Range
box. The value will be entered in the
Range
box you last clicked into.
From Loc
This opens a list of the 10
Locate Points
. Clicking a
Locate
point will enter it’s
timecode value in the selected
Range
box. The value will be entered in the
Range
box
you last clicked into.
Start and End
These set the
Range From
and
To
boxes to the
Title Start
and
End
values defined in
the
Title Info
window.
Capture
This allows you to set either
Range
box on-the-fly as timecode is running. Clicking
Capture
will put the current timecode value into the selected
Range
box.
Completing both of these tasks, selecting the
Channels
and
Events
and over what time
range, will define the block of
Mix
data to
Repeat
. The next step is to define the
parameters for the
Repeat Process
.
Repeat
There is only one parameter, the timecode point at which the selected
Mix
data is to be
Repeated
.
