Clicking on a Channel
The scroll bars allow you move amongst the available channels and select them.
Channels
are selected individually by clicking on the names to highlight them.
The
All
and
None
buttons select/deselect all
Channels
simultaneously.
Selecting Channels using the SEL switch
Channels
can be selected using the local
SEL
switches on each
Channel
. There are two
modes of operation,
Single
and
Multiple
select, enabled by checking the appropriate
radio button.
Single Select
mode is mutually exclusive. Selecting any one
Channel
deselects all
others.
Multiple Select
mode allows any number of
Channels
to be selected together.
Using Presets
Six
Preset
buttons are provided at the bottom of the
Channel Select
area, labelled
User 1
to
User 6
by default.
Channels
can be grouped together as selection sets and assigned to a
Preset
for automatic reselection at any time.
To create a
Preset
, simply select the required
Channels
then hold down the
Shift
key on
the
Qwerty
keyboard whilst clicking on a
Preset
button. A dialogue prompts for any
changes and also allows more meaningful button names to be attached before committing
any changes to disk.
To activate a
Preset
, simply click on the button. The selected
Channels
will highlight.
Important Note: Presets
are saved independently to disk as a “system-wide” feature and
are
NOT
part of any individual
Project
and therefore common to
ALL Projects
.
