Creating Fader Groups
Standard Assignment
1. Select the
“- - -”
symbol beside the name of the channel you want to be
Group
Master
.
2. Type "
M1"
in this column to assign the
Master
for
Group 1
, or
"M2"
to assign the
master for
Group 2
etc.
3. Select the
“- - -”
symbol for the first
Slave
you wish to assign.
4. Type the number of the
Group
and press
Enter
.
5. Continue to add
Masters
and
Slaves
in this fashion until all your
Fader Groups
have been created.
Note:
For faster
Slave
assignment, type in the
Group
number and use the
Up/Down
arrow
keys to accept the entry and move up/down the list to the next field.
Quick Assignment
This is a new feature which allows
Groups
to be manipulated using channel
SEL
switches.
1. Set the
Group
number from the field at the top of the screen. You can either
left-click onto the field and use the drop-down list, or use the QWERTY numeric
keys
1-0
(0=10)
to set the
Group
number directly.
2. Press a channel’s
SEL
switch to designate it as the
Group Master
, it’s LED will flash.
The legend
“M1”
etc. for that group is auto-entered into the table for you.
3. Use the
SEL
switches on other channels to assign
Slaves
as required, each
Slave
will show a static
SEL
LED. The
Group
number for each
Slave
is auto-entered into
the table for you.
4. Continue to add
Masters
and
Slaves
in this fashion until all your
Fader Groups
have been created.
Interrogating Fader Groups
With the
Fader Groups
window displayed, the current
Group
is shown via the channel
SEL
LEDs. Selecting another
Group
from the drop-down list changes the
SEL
LEDs to show the
new
Master
and it’s
Slaves
. Only one
Group
at time can be interrogated.
Note:
Standard
Fader Group
assignment is always shown on the
Faders Up
screen.
