into the
In
or

field to highlight it, then click on the

Timecode
The
Timecode Window
displays the current timecode
position. The
Ext TC
button beside the
Timecode
Window
sources timecode either internally or externally.
Internal timecode is read when the LED is ON.
The timecode display changes colour according to different circumstances. When the
system is locating, the figures are black. When timecode is locked they change to red,
otherwise the code is green.
Note: Mix
events can only be written to a
Mix
file when timecode is locked, i.e. red.
Cues
Below the
Timecode Window
is another timecode value.
This is the point at which the next
Cue
(defined in the
Cue List
) is to be triggered. The name of the
Cue
appears
underneath.
Solo
Above the
Write Enables
box is the
Solo Indicator
. If a
Solo
is pressed
anywhere on the console then this indicator will be lit.
Note:
This feature only applies to certain consoles depending upon the standard hardware
for that product.
MIDI
Beside the
Solo Indicator
is the
MIDI Indicator
. This lights when the
console sends
MIDI
code.
