Mode Bar
Immediately below the
Mix System
settings is a toolbar with various functions.
The left hand buttons invoke
Match Mode
,
Auto-Takeover
and
Online Trim
respectively.
The right hand buttons invoke
Circular Mix
mode and
Linear Mix
mode.
Note:
The soft
Locator
buttons in the centre are
DEF
file dependent and only appear if no
console hardware locator functions are fitted to the console.
Match Mode
Click on this toggle button to enable
Match Mode
. The button turns blue when active.
When active, the console
SEL
switch is used to instigate
Match Mode
. In this mode, the
red and green
SEL
LEDs are used to indicate which direction the fader needs to be moved,
in order to match the recorded level.
Flashing green shows the fader is below the recorded level, flashing red shows the fader is
above the recorded level. When the fader is moved up or down and reaches the point
where both levels are equal, BOTH LEDs flash simultaneously. The
SEL
switch must be
pressed again to place the channel into
Write
mode and the red LED becomes static. All
further changes in fader level are written directly to the
Mix
.
Pressing the
SEL
switch again invokes a similar condition, only this time the channel is
placed back into
Read
mode at the match point and green LED becomes static.
Auto-Takeover
Click on this toggle button to enable
Auto-Takeover
. The button turns blue when active.
When active, the console
SEL
switch is used to instigate
Auto-Takeover
. In this mode, the
red and green
SEL
LEDs are used to indicate which direction the fader needs to be moved,
in order to match the recorded level.
