Recording a New Macro
1. Select a
Function Key
by clicking on it in the
Macro List
.
2. Click
Record New
.
3. A dialogue appears informing you that any key will begin recording.
4. Press any key to begin recording.
5. Perform the action you want to record. The
Macro
will record any mouse click, text
entry or change in automated parameter (automated switch changing state, fader
move, etc.).
6. Press
CTRL+Q
to stop the recording.
7. Return to the
Setup>User Macros
screen.
8. Click into the
Name
column next to the
Function Key
to which you have assigned
the
Macro
.
9. Type a name for your new
Macro
and press
Enter
.
Appending Actions to a Previously Recorded Macro
1. Select the
Macro
to which you want to add by clicking on it in the
Macro List
.
2. Click
Update Rec
.
3. The
Macro
will play through, performing the actions recorded under it. When it
reaches the end of the recording, a dialogue appears asking you to press any key to
begin updating.
4. Press any key.
5. Perform the actions you want to add to the end of the
Macro
.
6. Press
CTRL+Q
to stop recording.
7. The new actions are appended to the end of the updated
Macro
.
Clearing a Macro
1. To clear a recording assigned to a
Function Key
, select it by clicking on it in the
Macro List
.
2. Click
Clear
.
3. A dialogue appears asking for confirmation, click
Yes
.
4. The
Macro
will be cleared and any associated recording lost.
