User Macros
The
Macro System
allows the user to record anything that is controllable within the
software. In addition, the
Macro
will also record any change to any automated parameter
on the console. This powerful feature can be used to execute some very complex operations
with one key press.
One example of a
Macro
might be to record all faders moved to
0dB
. It is important to
note that the
Macro
records the absolute value an automated function is changed to, not
its relative motion.
For example, recording the motion of a fader down to
0dB
will return the fader to
0dB
not
the relative
"Down"
motion.
Likewise, to record an automated switch being turned
On
might require you to press an
On
switch
Off
then
On
again, firstly to record a change and secondly to set the end state.
